A friend of mine who is heavily involved with the Cincinnati chapter of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property, more commonly known as the American TFP, has been putting up Sacred Heart billboards like shown in the above picture for a couple of years now. He established a 501c3 charitable organization this past year to support the initiative with the TFP in Cincinnati. The static vinyl billboards run $3,000 each, with another $750.00 to print the vinyl signs themselves.
Donations large and small are most welcome; even working with your pastor to have a parish sponsor a billboard is a great fundraising initiative as well. The donations to the TFP campaign are tax deductible and you may also make donations directly through your IRA’s, thereby avoiding taxes on the RMD funds since the dollars go directly to a charity. Here is an example of one of the billboards put up in Cincinnati over a major interstate highway last year, with a rainbow over it, showing that God was pleased:
